Sensor Failure Diagnostics：The 1746-NR4 provides continuous diagnostics for open-circuit and short-circuit conditions. When a failure is detected, the module sets the corresponding error bit in the channel status word, which can be configured to drive the input data to a safe state (upscale or downscale).
