The 1747-L552 has 32 KB of controller memory to process logic control programs. The system supports a Compact Flash memory card option for program backup and on-site recovery. For channel capacity, the system expands up to 8,192 digital I/O points and 480 analogue I/O points to meet the requirements of multi-channel field devices.
The processor integrates on-board hardware interfaces, including an Ethernet Fibre port and a standard RS232 serial port. It supports industrial communication protocols, including EtherNet/IP, EtherNet/OCPP, and Remote I/O. The fibre-optic transmission and multi-protocol architecture handle data exchange between the controller, upper computers, Human-Machine Interfaces (HMI), and distributed devices.
