The TC-205 is a specialized triple-core cable assembly engineered to bridge Trusted™ I/O modules and Field Termination Assemblies (FTAs). The chassis end features two 96-way type ‘C’ connectors housed in a double-width hood, while the remote end splits into three distinct paths: a 96-way type ‘R’ connector for FTA signals, a 5-way BLZF series connector for power return, and a 6-way AMP plug for field power delivery.
This complex multi-core design supports high-density output modules, including the T8444, T8451, T8461, and T8471. By providing a dedicated 0 V reference connection at the chassis end, the cable enables the module to accurately measure its own output voltage against the field supply, ensuring precision in both digital and analogue signal transmission for critical control tasks.
