Product Describe:
3-conductor shielded 22 AWG
cable with 3-socket plug at one end
terminal lugs at the other end
Minimum length of 2.0ft (0.6 m), maximum length of 99 ft (30 m)
The 16925-66 is an industrial sensor interconnect cable assembly from the 16925 non-armored cable series by Bently Nevada, utilized for connecting 330400 or 330425 vibration accelerometers.
3-socket plug on one end and terminal lugs on the other
Reliable signal transmission for vibration monitoring systems
Long service life and dependable performance
This finished hardware unit features a length of 66 feet and contains a non-armored outer jacket, 3-conductor 22 AWG (0.5 mm²) copper wiring, and an overall braided shield, pre-terminated with a 3-socket plug and terminal lugs at its respective ends.
The 66-foot length allows routing across machinery skids, bridging spans between accelerometers and local junction boxes without splices. Without a metallic armor wrap, the non-armored outer jacket maintains a smaller outer diameter and lower weight, enabling installation through dense cable trays, conduits, and complex layout paths requiring a small bend radius. At the machine interface, the 3-socket plug connects to the sensor to maintain a moisture-resistant link under continuous vibration, while the terminal lugs at the trailing end connect to diagnostic terminal blocks.
The 16925-66 Bently Nevada Interconnect Cable may still be available for purchase and support from Apter Power beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).

Petrochemical and Refining
Connects casing accelerometers on high-speed centrifugal compressors to monitoring racks to track gear mesh and rotor stability.
Thermal Power Plants
Transmits high-precision vibration signals from steam turbine bearing housings to safety systems under high-temperature conditions.
Oil and Gas Pipelines
Routes sensor signals from heavy-duty mainline pumps to local junction boxes through rugged environments prone to mechanical impacts.
Wind Energy Generation
Links nacelle-mounted main gearboxes and generators to online diagnostic units, protecting signals from high electromagnetic interference.
Pulp and Paper Mills
Interconnects accelerometers on paper machine press section rolls to central systems through constant steam and chemical exposure.
Offshore Drilling Platforms
Routes critical machinery data from mud pumps and top drive units to structural safety consoles over tough salt-spray areas.
Non-armored cable requires conduit or tray protection against crushing. Avoid sharp bends or strain on the plug to prevent seal failure. Ground the shield at a single end to eliminate EMI. Never plug or unplug while energized.
Technical notes
Technical notes
The 16925-66 is widely applied in industries such as petroleum and natural gas refining, thermal and gas turbine power generation, chemical processing, water treatment, and large integrated air separation. It is primarily deployed on the casing vibration and Turbine Supervisory Instrumentation (TSI) systems of large high-speed rotating machinery, including steam/gas turbines, high-speed centrifugal compressors, heavy-duty pumps, and gearboxes.
It is a Bently Nevada 3-conductor shielded non-armored transducer interconnect cable.
What is the primary purpose of 16925-66?
It physically connects vibration sensors (like accelerometers) to local monitoring systems.
What is the wire gauge and internal conductor structure of 16925-66?
It contains three 22 AWG copper conductors.
What is the connector configuration of 16925-66?
One end has a 3-socket MIL-style plug, the other has terminal lugs.
