The combination of this probe lead and an extension cable is engineered to achieve a total system length of either 5 or 9 meters from probe tip to the Proximitor. Probes and cables of the same system length are completely interchangeable.
Furthermore, a three-conductor, shielded cable carries the voltage signal and power input between the 7200 Proximitor and Bently Nevada monitors, allowing the Proximitor to be located up to 1,000 feet from standard monitors without signal degradation.
