Product Describe:
Zero Speed Tachometer
Dual-Channel Monitor with Direction Detection
Independent Alert/Danger Setpoints
Recorder Outputs, and Epoxy-Sealed Relay Configuration
The 3300/50-02-01-00-00 is a dual-channel Zero Speed Tachometer Monitor designed by Bently Nevada to continuously monitor shaft rotative speed, acceleration, and provide zero speed indication for critical rotating machinery.
Measures Shaft Rotative Speed and Acceleration
Provides an Output for Zero Speed Indication
Provides Proportional Voltage on Rear Terminal Strip
The 3300/50-02-01-00-00 operates as a dual-channel module that accepts inputs from two proximity transducers, using phase-difference logic to accurately detect the direction of shaft rotation. This specific configuration is equipped with epoxy-sealed independent relays providing both Alert and Danger alarm status contacts for external annunciator panels or safety interlock systems, an internal Danger Bypass option for online maintenance, and configurable proportional recorder DC voltage outputs on the rear terminal block.
The 3300/50-02-01-00-00 Bently Nevada Tachometer may still be available for purchase and support from Apter Power beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).
Important Notice: Other accessories, manuals, cables, calibration data, software, etc. are not included with this equipment unless listed in the above stock item description.

Thermal Power Generation Industry
Monitors the speed of large steam turbine generator units during coast-down and low-speed turning gear operations, providing interlock permit signals for the turning gear and main oil pumps.
Nuclear Power Industry
Monitors the zero-speed status of large steam turbine units in conventional islands, preventing improper startup when the rotor is not completely at rest or has a thermal bow.
Hydroelectric Power Industry
Used in large pumped-storage units or hydroelectric generating units to precisely determine if the rotor is completely at rest during the shutdown phase before safely applying mechanical brakes.
Petrochemical Industry
Monitors the shaft rotation direction of large centrifugal cracked gas compressor trains to prevent catastrophic machinery damage caused by severe reverse rotation from process gas backflow.
Steel and Metallurgical Industry
Monitors the zero-speed status of large blast furnace axial blowers or main motors of rolling mills, preventing heavy-duty equipment from forced reverse switching before coming to a full stop.
Cement Manufacturing Industry
Monitors the speed of large cement rotary kiln main reducers during auxiliary drive conditions, ensuring the kiln shell does not warp or deform during high-temperature shutdowns.
The 3300/50-02-01-00-00 continuously monitors shaft rotational speed and provides zero-speed indication for rotating machinery. Its dual-transducer architecture with internal voting logic improves signal reliability and supports machine monitoring, permissive logic, and annunciation functions within the 3300 Monitoring System.
3300/50-02-01-00-00 integrates a built-in self-test (BIST) circuit. In the event of a disconnected transducer, burned-out probe, short-circuited cable, or internal module power falling below the safety threshold, the NOT OK (yellow LED) on the front panel illuminates immediately and instantly inhibits the corresponding relay outputs, driving the system into a fail-safe state.
It is a dual-channel zero speed tachometer monitor module.
How to use a product like 3300/50-02-01-00-00?
Insert it into a 3300 rack and connect proximity sensors to monitor low speed or barring status.
What is the main purpose of 3300/50-02-01-00-00?
It is specifically used for zero speed and rotation direction detection of large machinery like steam turbines.
How many alarm levels does 3300/50-02-01-00-00 support?
It supports two levels, which are Alert and Danger setpoints.
