TMR technology is characterized by a "two-out-of-three" logic—three independent processing units operate simultaneously within the system, and even if one fails, the other two can continue to work and correct errors, achieving zero downtime. In the Trusted system architecture, the T8193 acts as the "interface gate." If the processor module is likened to the brain, the T8193 is the socket and protective shell connecting the brain to the external nerves (communication cables). It inherits the core Triple Redundancy (TMR) design concept of ICS Triplex and is specifically designed to achieve SIL 3 safety level communication stability.
