The SAFT175RDO is a relay output interface board for medium-voltage drives and excitation cabinets. Serving as an isolation interface, it converts digital control commands into physical contact actions to drive external circuit breaker tripping, safety interlocks, or status indications.

The SAFT175RDO consists of a conformal-coated printed circuit board with ribbon connectors for the controller bus and pluggable screw terminal blocks for external cable connections. Each channel integrates freewheeling diodes and RC snubber circuits to reduce arcing and reverse electromotive forces from inductive loads. Each output channel provides both normally open  and normally closed dry contacts. The board incorporates physical test points for measuring control logic voltages and contact resistance under energized conditions.

Tighten terminal screws regularly against vibration-induced loose contacts, and keep the cabinet dry and clean to preserve inter-channel galvanic isolation.
