The T8830C is a 24 Vdc powered, DIN-rail mounted, 40-channel analogue input field termination assembly with a conformal coating for harsh environments. It interfaces standard 2-wire field devices with Trusted TMR analogue input modules.

Regarding electrical distribution and protection circuitry, T8830C receives external field power via dual diode-ORed 24 Vdc power feeds and incorporates an individual 50 mA fast-acting fuse for each independent analogue input channel to restrict loop fault currents and enhance electrical isolation safety. The circuit board includes dedicated LED indicators to provide real-time monitoring of field power supply integrity. In terms of signal conditioning and interconnection architecture, the incoming two-wire analogue current signals pass through on-board 250-ohm precision resistors for conversion into voltage signals, routing the electrical data through a 96-way SK1 socket and a dedicated cable assembly directly to the input module while supporting SmartSlot connectivity to permit online hot-swapping of the main control module.
