The Allen-Bradley 1762-IQ16 is a Sixteen (16) channel discrete input module that is used with MicroLogix 1100, 1200 and 1400 Programmable Logic Controllers. This PLC features a compact form wherein minimum hardware requirements to operate as a PLC are integrated such as Power Supply, Input and Output, Communication ports and Memory.

1. Signal "universal" ability Skill description: It does not select the type of sensor. By changing the wiring of the common terminal (COM), it can simultaneously support sensors with NPN (drain type) or PNP (source type) outputs.
2. High density "space management" Skill description: It integrates 16 independent 24V DC input channels in a very small size of only 40 millimeters wide. Practical value: In compact control cabinets, it is the most preferred option for expanding input points.

Environmental "immunity" and anti-interference Skill Description: Hardware filtering: Built in signal filtering mechanism, with a typical response time of 8ms, specifically designed to suppress electromagnetic pulses generated by the opening and closing of contactors in industrial fields. Wide voltage operation: Supports wide range input from 10V to 30V DC.
4. Quick on-site physical examination and diagnosis Skill description: The panel is equipped with 16 green LED status indicators, which map the on/off status of each channel in real time. Practical value: On site maintenance personnel do not need to connect to a computer to check the program.
Sensor compatibility: It can be directly connected to proximity switches, photoelectric switches (NPN or PNP), limit switches, emergency stop buttons, etc.
