The module is equipped with an "electronic nameplate" function, which can automatically transmit key data such as order number, rated parameters, and factory configuration to the control unit during system startup. It supports engineering software (such as Starter or TIA Portal) for automatic identification and topology configuration.

1. PWM Inverter Technology Dual axis independent inverter: Two independent power inverter circuits are integrated into a single physical module. Each channel can output a rated current of 9A (with a peak value of about 18A) for precise control of induction motors or permanent magnet synchronous motors. Vector Control: Supports high-performance vector control and servo control, ensuring that the motor can output stable torque even at extremely low speeds and has extremely high dynamic response speed.

2. DRIVE CLiQ digital interface technology Distributed control architecture: Modules are connected to control units (CU320/CU310) through dedicated DRIVE CLiQ cables. Electronic Rating Plate: The module has a built-in storage chip that contains data such as power specifications, serial numbers, and versions. After connection, the system automatically recognizes parameters, achieving "plug and play" functionality, greatly reducing debugging difficulty and avoiding parameter mismatches that may cause burning.

3. DC Link energy management Intermediate circuit technology: The module is directly mounted on the 600V DC common bus. Energy complementarity: When shaft A is in the braking state (generating electricity), the generated electrical energy can be directly supplied to shaft B, which is doing work, through the DC bus for consumption, without the need for resistance heating dissipation, significantly improving the overall energy efficiency of the system.
The dual motor module integrates comprehensive intelligent internal protection technology: microsecond level overcurrent and short-circuit shutdown protection is achieved through high-precision current sensors, combined with real-time monitoring of IGBT heat sink temperature and I2t thermal load calculation algorithm to prevent thermal breakdown, supplemented by 600V DC bus overvoltage/undervoltage monitoring and consistency self diagnosis of DRIVE CLiQ system firmware.

It constructs a closed-loop safety defense system from power components to logic control, ensuring that the output can be locked in real time under abnormal working conditions to prevent hardware damage.

  • What is the difference between CC-PCNT01 and CC-PCNT02?
    The CC-PCNT02 is a C300 series controller in the Honeywell Experion PKS system. As the enhanced successor to the CC-PCNT01, it doubles the memory from 32 MB to 64 MB, upgrades the core chip to resolve component obsolescence, and supports advanced function blocks such as the Profit® Controller. It is fully backward compatible and can directly replace the -01 model without major system overhauls.
  • What are the operating temperature and power requirements for the CC-PCNT02?
    The maximum operating temperature is typically 70°C, with a standard range of -20°C to +70°C. It requires a 24 VDC power supply.
  • How are C300 controllers connected to the network?
    They connect to the upper system via Fault Tolerant Ethernet (FTE) (yellow cable to FTEA, green to FTEB), and to I/O racks via IOLINK cables. The Device Index is set via rotary switches on the IOTA base (range 001-510), and the primary controller must be set to an odd number.
