6SL3120-1TE21-8AA3 is equipped with a complete set of connection terminals on its surface. The top features an assembleable DC busbar interface used for electrical interconnection with the upstream line module and other inverter modules mounted side-by-side. The bottom is provided with U2, V2, and W2 motor power cable connection terminals. In terms of communication, the module integrates 3 dedicated Drive-CLiQ (RJ45) interfaces, which are responsible for high-speed digital network connection of motor encoder data and module status to the upper-level CU320-2 or SIMOTION control units.
In addition, it is equipped with dedicated hardware safety integrated wiring terminals to connect to the control circuits for Safe Torque Off (STO) and Safe Stop 1 (SS1). This module is applicable for three-phase motors with a rated power of 9.7 kW, featuring an 18A rated output current and a DC 510-720V input, and is configured with Drive-CLiQ interfaces as well as STO/SS1 safety functions.
