The 3721 is a TMR Analog Input Module with a voltage range of 0 to 5 VDC or -5 to +5 VDC. The 3721 module can be installed only in Tricon v10.2 and later systems.

3721 features a Triple Modular Redundant (TMR) architecture with three isolated microprocessor channels. It executes hardware 2-out-of-3 (2oo3) voting to process incoming sensor signals to maintain system operation during a single-point hardware failure, complying with industrial safety control system standards.
The module provides 32 single-ended input channels utilizing a DC-coupled circuit framework. Each channel incorporates a 16-bit resolution A/D converter to transform standard 4-20mA current signals or 0-5V DC voltage signals from field transmitters into digital values. High-voltage isolation between the bus and field circuits blocks external electrical interference and ground loop surges.
