      The 3500 Power Supplies are half-height modules andmust be installed in the specially designed slots on the leftside of the rack. The 3500 rack can contain one or twopower supplies (any combination of ac and/or dc) andeither supply can power a full rack. If installed, the secondsupply acts as a backup for the primary supply.

      When twopower supplies are installed in a rack, the supply in thelower slot acts as the primary supply and the supply in theupper slot acts as the backup supply. Removing orinserting either power supply module will not disruptoperation of the rack as long as a second power supply isinstalled.

      The 3500 Power Supplies accept a wide range of inputvoltages and converts them to voltages acceptable for useby other 3500 modules.

      Slot position: It must be installed in the dedicated half height slot on the leftmost side of the 3500 rack. Redundant configuration: One rack can install two power modules to achieve redundant power supply. At this point, the module in the lower slot serves as the main power supply, while the module in the upper slot serves as the backup power supply. Supporting components: This module needs to be used in conjunction with a power input module (PIM), and its corresponding model is usually 133300-01. Fuse Description: The corresponding low-voltage DC PIM uses a specific spare fuse, part number 01720045.
