When installing the 2098-DSD-020X drive, it must be mounted vertically on a grounded conductive subpanel with at least 50.8 mm (2 in.) of clearance above and below the drive for ventilation. Main power must be wired via AC input terminals L1, L2, and L3; for single-phase operation, connect to L1 and L2 and ensure the PE ground screw is securely connected.
Motor power cables must be connected to U, V, and W output terminals, and a motor-terminating filter is recommended for long cable runs to reduce EMI. If the DC bus voltage exceeds 375V DC due to regenerative energy, the internal or optional external shunt resistor must be used for dissipation; do not touch power terminals until confirming voltage has discharged.
All low-voltage control wiring for CN1 and CN2 interfaces must use shielded twisted-pair cables and be routed separately from high-voltage power cables to prevent electrical noise interference.
The drive supports 100–240V rms input and provides a continuous output current of 10 Amps (0-peak) with 2.0 kW output power.
