Product Describe:
Power Supply Module
Two modules can be installed
In the rack to achieve power redundancy,
And the other module can bear
100% load in case of single module failure.
The Vibro-meter SIM-330A (P/N: 200-582-500-021) is an RPS6U rack power module designed specifically for VM600 mechanical monitoring systems. As the core power supply unit, it provides stable low-voltage DC power supply for various processing cards (such as MPC4, CPUM, etc.) inside the monitoring rack.
High power output (330W)
Multi channel DC output
Power Supply Module
In order to meet the requirements of "zero shutdown" in harsh industrial environments such as power plants and refineries, SIM-330A has excellent fault tolerance. It supports dual redundancy configuration: two identical power modules can be installed simultaneously in a VM600 rack. When one module fails, the other module will seamlessly take over full load power supply in an instant, ensuring that the monitoring system is not interrupted.

Redundant design: One VM600 rack can install two RPS6U modules to achieve power redundancy. If one of them fails, the other can independently bear the load of the entire rack, ensuring uninterrupted operation of the monitoring system.
Comprehensive protection: equipped with overvoltage protection, short circuit protection, and overload protection functions, suitable for harsh industrial environments.
Compatibility: The model suffix -021 belongs to a newer version and can completely replace earlier old model versions (such as -013). The increase in hardware version ("h") usually does not affect interchangeability.
The VIBRO METER SIM-330A (200-582-500-021) power module is equipped with an extremely tight internal device protection mechanism, designed specifically for the continuous high reliability operation of the VM600 monitoring system. This module has excellent electrical safety protection, integrated with overvoltage protection (OVP), overcurrent protection, and short-circuit protection functions, which can effectively prevent input side surges or output terminal faults from causing damage to sensitive monitoring cards inside the rack.
What is the main purpose of this SIM-330A 200-582-500-021 module?
SIM-330A is the rack power module (RPS6U) in the VM600 system, mainly responsible for converting external AC or DC input voltage into+5 VDC and ± 12 VDC required by the rack backplane and all installation cards (such as MPC4 monitoring card, CPUM processor card).
What should I do if the module fan makes a lot of noise or stops rotating?
SIM-330A has high power, and internal heat dissipation is crucial. Fan failure can cause the module to automatically shut down due to overheating protection. Fans are usually replaceable and vulnerable parts, and it is recommended to regularly clean the dust.
If only one power module is installed in the rack, which slot should it be plugged into?
The VM600 ABE04x rack has two dedicated power slots (usually on the far left or far right). When using a single module, it is recommended to plug it into slot PSU1 and ensure that a cover plate is installed in slot PSU2 to maintain the heat dissipation duct.
How to wire the AC input terminal of this module?
SIM-330A is typically installed in the power slot of the VM600 rack and wired through the ASPS (power input card) at the rear of the rack. Please ensure that the L (live wire), N (neutral wire), and PE (ground wire) are connected correctly, and that the grounding resistance meets industry standards (usually less than 1 Ω).
Does this module have a dry contact alarm output?
The module itself only has LED panels. But it communicates with CPUM (Rack Controller) through the rack base plate. If the power fails, CPUM will trigger a rack level
