Siemens 6FC5370-4AM20-0AA0 is the vertical PPU 240.2 CNC hardware execution for SINUMERIK 828D Basic M. It combines the panel-processing hardware for the configured machine control. The hardware identity must be considered together with the installed CNC software and machine configuration; supplying the PPU does not by itself establish the available software options or the complete machine function.

The PPU uses a 24 V DC supply with a permitted positive tolerance of 20 percent and negative tolerance of 15 percent. Maximum active power consumption is 60 W. Power-interruption buffering is 3 ms, with 20 ms specified when used with the applicable SITOP smart supply arrangement. Supply selection and the machine restart behavior should be checked together before the replacement is energized.

The front provides IP65 protection with its flap closed, while the rear is IP20 / UL open type and requires the corresponding protected installation. Operating temperature is 0 to 45 degrees Celsius at the front and 0 to 55 degrees Celsius at the rear; condensation and icing are excluded. Preserve the vertical mounting arrangement, CNC and PLC backups, machine data and fitted interface assignments, then validate the restored machine through the approved commissioning procedure.
