This hardware establishes the primary electrical interface between an RTD input terminal board and one or more input-output Ethernet networks. The pack incorporates a standard processor board shared across all Mark VIe distributed input-output units alongside a dedicated acquisition board built specifically to process temperature measuring functions.

Regarding operational scanning dynamics the H1D version of the terminal board offers filtering characteristics optimized for the standard pack scan rate. When choosing the rapid scan rate selection the H2D version of the terminal board provides less filtering to enable proper high-speed data acquisition performance.
