Overview Manuals Core functions and design Typical Applications
The IS200ECTBG1A is an Exciter Contact Terminal Board manufactured and designed by General Electric as part of the ExX21000 Series used in GE Excitation gas turbine control systems. The EX2100 Excitation Control's excitation contact outputs and inputs are supported by the IS200ECTB terminal board. There are two variations
    • Mark VIe
    • Simplex, Redundant or TMR
    • EXCITER CONTACT TERMINAL BOARD
The ECTB is monitoring six auxiliary contact inputs that are energized (wetted) with 70 V dc. Additionally, monitoring and 70 V dc powering are provided for the 52G and 86G contact inputs. Power is provided by both the M1 and M2 controllers for the redundant control.
Important Notice: Other accessories, manuals, cables, calibration data, software, etc. are not included with this equipment unless listed in the above stock item description.

Redundant operation: The "G1" symbol at the end of the model indicates that the card is only used in redundant mode. In redundant configuration, it distributes input signals to three controllers (M1, M2, and C) and implements a "two out of three" voting mechanism for relay control to improve system reliability.
This terminal board is widely used in the excitation control system of gas turbines or steam turbines in large power plants. It serves as the physical interface between the on-site equipment and the EX2100 control system, responsible for critical logic switching and transmission of safety trip signals.
