When combined with a compatible Proximitor Sensor and extension cable, the 3300 5 mm Proximity Probe 330171-00-14-10-02-05=330140 provides an output voltage that is directly proportional to the distance between the probe tip and the observed conductive surface. This system measures both static (position) and dynamic (vibration) data. Its primary application is in vibration and position measurement on fluid-film bearing machines, as well as Keyphasor and speed measurement applications.

The system delivers an accurate, stable signal output over a wide temperature range (-35°C to +177°C). It achieves this level of performance with complete interchangeability of the probe, extension cable, and Proximitor sensor, completely eliminating the need for individual component matching or bench calibration. The 3300 5 mm probe improves upon previous legacy designs.

A patented TipLoc molding method provides a more robust bond between the probe tip and the probe body. This specific model features a 1/4-28 UNF threaded case with a 1.4-inch overall length, an unarmored 1.0-meter standard cable, and a miniature coaxial ClickLoc connector. Furthermore, it comes with the 05 option, which carries multiple international agency approvals (such as ATEX, IECEx, and CSA) for safe installation in hazardous and explosive environments.
