Features

  • 330171-00-08-10-02-00 3300 5mm Proximity Probes
  • A compact proximity probe designed for Bently Nevada 3300 series monitoring systems
  • It provides accurate non-contact vibration and displacement measurement with a 5 mm tip for reliable operation in space-limited applications.
The BENTLY NEVADA 330171-00-08-10-02-00 3300 5 mm Proximity Probe provides precise non-contact measurement of shaft vibration and position, generating a voltage proportional to the distance between the probe tip and the conductive surface.

It is used in fluid-film bearing machines for vibration, displacement, speed, and phase reference measurements, with a compact 5 mm tip ideal for space-limited installations.

All system components, including probes, extension cables, and sensors, are fully interchangeable, delivering stable signal output and eliminating the need for individual calibration.

FAQS

  • What is 330171-00-08-10-02-00?
    330171-00-08-10-02-00 is 3300 5mm Proximity Probes
  • What is a proximity probe?
Proximity probes are sensors that measure relative proximity. Proximity probes use changes in voltage to measure rotating or reciprotcating shaft surfaces. Because proximity probes are non-contacting transducers, mount proximity probes on a reasonably stationary mechanical structure, such as a bearing housing.
  • What are proximity probes used for?
Proximity probes are sensors that measure relative proximity. Proximity probes use changes in voltage to measure rotating or reciprotcating shaft surfaces. Because proximity probes are non-contacting transducers, mount proximity probes on a reasonably stationary mechanical structure, such as a bearing housing.
  • What is the difference between proximity probe and accelerometer?
While the case mounted accelerometer measures absolute vibration levels, the proximity probe measures shaft displacement relative to the bearing housing. Relative motion between a shaft and a magnetic field generates a phenomenon called eddy currents.
