The system provides an output voltage that is directly proportional to the distance between the probe tip and the observed conductive surface and can measure both static (position) and dynamic (vibration) values. The system’s primary applications are vibration and position measurements on fluid-film bearing machines, as well as Keyphasor reference and speed measurements.
The 3300 XL 8 mm system delivers advanced performance in eddy current proximity transducer systems. The 3300 XL 8 mm 9-meter system fully complies with the technical requirements for linear range, accuracy, and temperature stability defined by industrial standards. All 3300 XL 8 mm proximity transducer systems support complete interchangeability of probes, extension cables, and Proximitor sensors, eliminating the need to match or bench calibrate individual components.
Each 3300 XL 8 mm Transducer System component is backward compatible and interchangeable4 with other non XL 3300 series 5 mm and 8 mm transducer system components5. This compatibility includes the 3300 5 mm probe, for applications in which an 8 mm probe is too large for the available mounting space.

Maintain a static bend radius of no less than 25.4 mm during routing, and always run the cable inside galvanized steel conduits or flexible explosion-proof tubes for mechanical protection.
Coaxial connectors must remain completely free of oil and moisture, and the integrated transparent protector must be securely locked over the joint after mating. For hazardous area deployment, connection to an intrinsically safe barrier and strict explosion-proof sealing at conduit ports are mandatory.
The 330130-085-12-05 features a 75-ohm high-frequency triaxial cable geometry, with the insulation and outer jacket fully constructed from high-performance fluorinated ethylene propylene (FEP) engineering plastic. The connection interface integrates the proprietary CableLoc strain relief and ClickLoc miniature coaxial connector design. The crimped and welded joint between the cable and the coaxial connector withstands an external axial mechanical pull force up to 330 Newtons (75 pounds-force).
