All 3300 XL 8 mm proximity transducer systems support complete interchangeability of probes, extension cables, and Proximitor sensors, eliminating the need to match or bench calibrate individual components. Each component is backward compatible and interchangeable with other non-XL 3300 series 5 mm and 8 mm system components, including the 3300 5 mm probe for applications where mounting space is restricted.

This 8.0m probe must be used with a 9.0m system Proximitor and a 1.0m extension cable. Mixing it with a 5.0m system or incorrect cable lengths will cause severe calibration errors.Given the 8.0m length, excess cable should be neatly coiled (minimum 15cm diameter). Avoid sharp bends or messy stacking, as long cables are more susceptible to capacitive interference and signal drift.Ensure a side clearance of at least 15mm from surrounding metal. If mounting multiple probes, maintain at least 40mm between centers to prevent cross-talk (magnetic interference).
