As a component of this series, this 1.0-meter unarmored probe requires a matching 4.0-meter 3300 XL extension cable to connect with a 3300 XL Proximitor sensor for a complete 5-meter measurement loop.
In its manufacturing layout, a TipLoc molding method bonds the probe tip to the probe body, while the cable incorporates a CableLoc design providing a 330 N (75 lbf) pull strength to attach the cable to the probe tip. Each 3300 XL series component maintains backward compatibility and electrical interchangeability with matching non-XL 3300 series transducer system components under identical electrical constraints.
