The SPDSI22 is a 16-channel Digital Input Slave Module for the ABB / Bailey Symphony Harmony (INFI 90) Distributed Control System (DCS).

Front-panel LED diagnostics
This hardware module functions in field signal acquisition for industrial process control. It receives and processes discrete binary signals—such as dry contacts, limit switches, pushbuttons, and relay states—from field equipment. The module converts these voltage states into system data and transmits them in real time to the master controller via the cabinet backplane bus.
The front panel integrates individual LED diagnostic indicators to display the real-time status of module power, communication buses, and input channels. The hardware provides full live hot-swappable capability, allowing personnel to replace the module during live system operation without interrupting process control, ensuring zero downtime and high system availability for continuous industrial operations.
