ABB 1SAP140500R0271 PM585-ETH is an AC500 V2 processor module for modular industrial automation. It executes the PLC application and coordinates compatible local or remote I/O.

The PM585-ETH executes cyclic, time-controlled or multitasking PLC logic and exchanges digital and analog process data with connected I/O. It has no onboard DI, DO, AI or AO channels. COM1 and COM2 support programming, Modbus master/slave and serial ASCII; COM1 also supports CS31 master. The R0271 CPU uses an R0270 TB511-ETH, TB521-ETH or TB541-ETH terminal base, which provides the Ethernet RJ45 connection.
