It supports a wide range of valve types, including linear actuators with a stroke range of 3 to 150 mm and part-turn (rotary) actuators with an angular range of 30° to 100°. The device is optimized for mounting on linear actuators according to IEC 60534-6-1 (NAMUR) and part-turn actuators according to VDI/VDE 3845. This configuration is particularly suitable for fail-safe valve systems where the pneumatic chamber is vented via the positioner upon loss of electric or pneumatic power, moving the valve to the predetermined safe end position.
