The HIMAX X-DI3201 is a safety-related digital input module equipped with 32 galvanically separated digital input channels. It is used in modular safety-related controller systems and can be inserted into the subrack slots for signal acquisition. The module adopts grouped power supply and is powered by 24 VDC, which is suitable for industrial safety applications.

HIMAX X-DI3201 is certified by TÜV up to SIL 3 (IEC 61508, IEC 61511, IEC 62061), Cat. 4 and PL e (EN ISO 13849-1). It provides short-circuit-proof grouped power supply, supports line control for short-circuit and open-circuit detection, and has complete fault diagnosis and LED status indication functions to ensure safe and stable operation.

The module is designed as a plug-in component for modular safety-related control systems, featuring 32 galvanically isolated digital input channels that support reliable signal acquisition in industrial safety applications. It adopts grouped short-circuit-proof power supply and is powered by 24 VDC from a safety-insulated power supply unit, meeting the requirements of Protection class III and Pollution degree II in line with IEC/EN 61508 standards. 
 
The module is equipped with RUN and ERR status indicators as well as independent channel LEDs, enabling intuitive operation status monitoring and rapid fault location. It supports line control function to detect short-circuits, open-circuits and cross-circuits of input lines, and triggers a safe reaction in accordance with the de-energized to trip principle once a fault is identified. 
 
The module can be configured via SILworX or ELOP II Factory programming tools corresponding to different CPU operating system versions, and can be applied in Zone 2 explosive hazardous environments when installed in an IP54 or higher protection enclosure. It requires no routine maintenance during normal operation, and a proof test must be performed at 10-year intervals to maintain the safety performance of the system.
