This board is mainly responsible for processing analog input and output signals in the control system. Its main functions include:
Signal processing: As the core processor, it receives raw analog signals (such as pressure, temperature, flow rate, etc.) from on-site sensors, processes them digitally, and transmits them to the controller.
Multi type support: Supports multiple analog I/O types, including 4-20 mA current input, 0-200 mA current output (commonly used in Mark VIe systems), and ± 5 VDC or ± 10 VDC voltage input.
System redundancy: Supports Simplex, Dual, or TMR configurations to ensure high availability of systems in high demand industrial environments such as power, oil, and gas.
