The 330730-080-03-05 as a signal transmission link for non-contacting vibration and displacement measurement systems, this cable module is used in conjunction with an 11 mm probe and a Proximitor sensor, allowing the system output to provide a linear scale factor of 3.94 V/mm (100 mV/mil). It is utilized for measuring axial (thrust) position, radial vibration, and tachometer speed on fluid-film bearing machines, as well as rod position or rod drop on reciprocating compressors.
In terms of system replacement and configuration, the 3300 XL 11 mm transducer system is designed to replace the legacy 7200-series 11 mm and 14 mm transducer systems. Due to electrical parameter incompatibilities, when upgrading from a 7200-series system to a 3300 XL 11 mm system, the original probe, extension cable, and Proximitor sensor must be completely replaced with the corresponding 3300 XL 11 mm components, and the configuration software of the monitoring system must be updated. If used within a 3500 monitoring system, the configuration software must be a version that supports the 3300 XL 11 mm transducer option. If used with an existing legacy 3300 monitoring system, a hardware modification is required to match the system impedance.
