When configured as a complete 5-meter system (by connecting the probe's 0.5-meter cable with a corresponding 4.5-meter extension cable), it fully complies with the American Petroleum Institute’s (API) 670 Standard for mechanical configuration, linear range, accuracy, and temperature stability.

As part of the 3300 XL 8 mm family, this probe supports complete interchangeability with other 3300 XL probes, extension cables, and Proximitor sensors, eliminating the need to match or bench calibrate individual components. Additionally, each component is backward compatible and interchangeable with other non-XL 3300 series 5 mm and 8 mm transducer system components under applicable mounting conditions.

This specific model features 3/8-24 UNF threads, an internal FluidLoc fluid-sealing cable with a miniature ClickLoc coaxial connector, and safety certification approval codes from multiple international agencies including CSA, ATEX, and IECEx.

 This probe has a 0.5m cable and requires a 4.5m extension cable to complete the 5m total system length. Operating without the specified total length causes measurement errors. For reverse mounting, thread the probe from the outside of the machine case.

Clean the mounting sleeve before insertion. Do not exceed the specified torque on the connector. Inspect the ClickLoc connector for looseness and the cable for wear during scheduled maintenance. Operating limits for temperature, chemical exposure, and fluid pressure must remain within the specified datasheet parameters.
