The SNS50-HBA0-S01 is a motor feedback encoder for servo motors and motion control applications. This component outputs incremental sine/cosine signals alongside an absolute reference track to provide position feedback and rotational accuracy in industrial operations. The encoder also contains integrated EEPROM parameter memory and an electronic type label for commissioning and maintenance.

SNS50-HBA0-S01 delivers high-resolution position and speed feedback through an incremental channel that generates 1,024 sine/cosine periods per revolution. Operating within a 7 VDC to 12 VDC supply range, the component functions at rotational speeds up to 6,000 RPM. This motor feedback system integrates inside servo motor enclosures to provide closed-loop control. A 1:10 tapered shaft provides rigid mechanical coupling to the motor rotor, preventing slip and structural misalignment in automated multi-axis movement profiles.

After replacing a unit, retrieve the electronic type label data from the integrated EEPROM via the drive and execute a motor commutation alignment calibration.
