The Honeywell FC-QPP-0001 V1.3 is a Quadruple Processor Pack (QPP) module designed for the Safety Manager system, often used in critical industrial applications. It serves as a key component for Safety Manager R120 and earlier versions, handling critical processing tasks within the Safety Management Systems.

Its function is to run and control the Safety Manager™ application logic, communicate with other systems, perform diagnostics on safety-critical functions, and respond to detected faults while maintaining system safety and reliability.

An SM Controller consists of a Control Processor, a Controller Chassis, a Battery and Keyswitch Module (BKM), and a Control Processor Backplane (CPB), which includes a high-speed redundant system bus for reliable operation.
