The analog input module IC600BF842 part of the GE Fanuc Series Six, is engineered to accommodate up to eight input channels. This module accepts voltage levels ranging from -10 to 10 volts DC, making it a flexible choice for various applications. For ease of installation, it is designed to mount on I/O racks, specifically the Model 60 CPU rack and Series Six Plus CPU rack.
In terms of functionality, the IC600BF842 module requires 32 consecutive I/O points to manage its input table communication effectively. For added versatility, the module supports digital output (DO I/O function). Regular calibration is advised every 90 days to maintain performance accuracy.
System components, including probes, extension cables, and sensors, are fully interchangeable, eliminating the need for individual calibration. The probe is also backward compatible with other 3300 series 5 mm and 8 mm components, allowing flexible installation for new systems and retrofit applications.
