The 330750-40-05 is a split-type high-temperature piezo-velocity sensor system applied for case-related absolute vibration measurements on industrial rotating machinery.
Direct sensing head mounting on surfaces up to 400°C (752°F)
4.0m cable allows remote electronics installation in cooler areas (-55° to +121°C)
Connectorless design eliminates risks of contamination and joint looseness
The 330750 and 330752 High Temperature Velomitor System (HTVS) has a fundamentally different construction to solve this problem. Its design segregates the sensing element from the signal conditioning electronics, with the two permanently connected via a hardline cable. Current versions (see note below) of these sensors allow the sensing head to be mounted on surfaces with temperatures as high as 400 ℃. Due to the segregated design, the signal conditioning electronics can be installed in a cooler location. This achieves overall transducer system performance comparable to other Velomitor transducers, but permits use at significantly higher temperatures. By eliminating connections between the sensing head and its associated signal conditioning electronics, a significant source of potential transducer failures (connector problems) is eliminated.

Nuclear Power
Deployed on conventional island high-temperature auxiliary steam feed-water pumps to capture casing mechanical vibration data.
Iron & Steel Metallurgy
Mounted on the exhaust blower housings of blast furnaces and TRT (Top Gas Recovery Turbine) casings to track physical vibration trends.
Coal Gasification
Deployed on the high-pressure oxygen compressor casings within gasification islands, carrying multiple agency approvals for safe operation in high-risk zones.
Paper & Pulp
Installed on black-liquor recovery boiler steam turbine casings to monitor mechanical integrity and prevent catastrophic shell deformations under continuous heat.
When operating the 330750-40-05 Proximitor Sensor, ensure it is paired exclusively with an 11 mm probe and a 4.0-meter total system length to maintain calibration accuracy. For installation, the sensor must be independently and reliably grounded and housed within a protective, weather-proof enclosure; routing its triaxial cables alongside high-power lines must be strictly avoided to eliminate signal distortion caused by high-frequency industrial EMI, extreme temperatures, and oil contamination.

The Bently Nevada 330750-40-05 is a split-type high-temperature piezo-velocity sensor system applied for case-related absolute vibration measurements on large rotating machinery. To accomplish safe operation under extreme temperatures, this transducer system utilizes a unique structural segregation mechanism that completely isolates the physical sensing element from the signal conditioning electronics. These two sections are permanently interconnected at the factory using an integrated hardline cable with a physical length of 4.0 meters. This integrated cable configuration directly eliminates intermediate connectors between the sensing head and the conditioning electronics, which are known to be a significant root source of potential transducer open circuits or electrical contact failures in real-world industrial environments.
It is a High Temperature Velomitor System velocity sensor used to measure case-related absolute vibration on rotating machinery.
What is the unique hardware architecture of the 330750-40-05?
This transducer segregates the physical sensing head from the signal conditioning electronics, permanently connecting them with an integrated hardline cable.
Why are the internal electronics of the 330750-40-05 separated from the tip?
The separated configuration enables users to position the cooler signal conditioning electronics (rated for -55°C to +121°C) away from the extreme heat zone.
How does the 330750-40-05 eliminate common transducer failures?
The integrated cable configuration eliminates intermediate connectors between the head and electronics, which are a significant source of transducer failures.
What type of connector is built on the 330750-40-05 electronics housing?
It features a hermetically-sealed 2-pin MIL-C-5015 receptacle encased in a 304 stainless steel shell.
