All 3300 XL 8 mm proximity transducer systems provide this level of performance and support complete interchangeability of probes, extension cables, and Proximitor sensors, eliminating the need to match or bench calibrate individual components. Each 3300 XL 8 mm Transducer System component is backward compatible and interchangeable with other non XL 3300 series 5 mm and 8 mm transducer system components. This compatibility includes the 3300 5 mm probe, for applications in which an 8 mm probe is too large for the available mounting space.
The 3300 XL probe and extension cable also reflect improvements over previous designs. A patented TipLoc molding method provides a more robust bond between the probe tip and the probe body. The probe’s cable incorporates a patented CableLoc design that provides 330 N (75 lbf) pull strength to more securely attach the probe cable and probe tip.

Furthermore, keep the ClickLoc coaxial connectors absolutely clean, dry, and free of oil contamination, while properly routing the armored cable to avoid any sharp or over-radius bends.
The system utilizes the Bently Nevada 3300 XL series 8 mm proximity transducer probe (Part Number: 330102-00-79-05-02-05) to provide an output voltage that is directly proportional to the distance between the probe tip and the observed conductive surface. Featuring a fully threaded 3/8-24 UNF body (7.9-inch overall case length, 0.0-inch unthreaded length), the probe comes equipped with a 0.5-meter standard cable protected by stainless steel armor and terminated with a miniature coaxial ClickLoc connector.
