        ATB5S-00 S2 is a Digital Input Module
      • What is digital input in a computer?
        Digital inputs are used to check the status of any devices whether it is ON or OFF. For an Input module of 24 Vdc, 0 Vdc acts as the OFF state (Binary 0) and 24 Vdc acts as the ON state (Binary 1).
      • How does a digital input module work?
        A digital input module accepts inputs from digital devices such as switches and proximity sensors. The input module will detect one of the two possible conditions of an input device: open or closed. For example, a push button switch is a digital device and can either be open or closed.
