The EMG NET16-1.2 is the core power management and signal processing plugin board for the German EMG Automation correction control system. As the "energy center" in the SPC16 control architecture, this circuit board (item number 235254) is designed for harsh industrial environments such as cold rolling, galvanizing, aluminum processing, and thin film production lines.
- Maintenance & Diagnostics
- High precision simulation front-end
- High speed bus interface
At the circuit design level, NET16-1.2 exhibits extremely high electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and operational stability. This board adopts a standard 19 inch rack plug-in structure and integrates multiple voltage conversion modules, which can accurately convert the external input 24V DC power supply into the+5V logic voltage and ± 15V analog reference voltage required by the system.

This board is usually installed in the following control cabinets or systems:
Controller: SPC16.0662 series, MCU 16 unit.
Supporting modules: often work in conjunction with ADU16 (analog conversion) and SEV16 (servo valve amplifier).
Stable power distribution and management
This is the most basic and important function of the board:
Voltage conversion: Convert the basic power supply (usually 24V DC or other standard voltage) input from the control cabinet into the precise operating voltage required by various components within the system.
Isolation protection: Provide electrical isolation for backend controllers (such as SPC16), sensors (such as ultrasonic and infrared), and amplifiers to prevent industrial surges or electromagnetic interference from damaging core chips.
2. Conditioning and transmission of sensor signals
In the correction system, NET16 serves as the interface between sensors and processing centers:
Preprocessing: Filter and amplify weak analog signals from edge detection sensors such as high-precision photoelectric or inductive sensors.
Standardization: Ensure that the signal meets the standard level specifications before being transmitted to the central processing unit (CPU module), ensuring the accuracy of correction calculations (usually at the micrometer level).
3. System synchronization and bus support
As a 19 inch rack mounted plug-in board, it plays a connecting role in the backplane bus:
Component collaboration: Coordinate communication between other modules within the same framework, such as ADU16 analog conversion module and SEV16 servo valve drive module.
Status monitoring: The board usually has LED indicator lights for real-time feedback of power status (OK/Tail), which facilitates maintenance personnel to quickly determine whether the system power supply is normal.
