The 330130-060-01-05 is a standard stainless steel armored extension cable designed for the 3300 XL series 8mm eddy current proximity sensor systems in industrial condition monitoring systems. It serves as a crucial bridge connecting the front-end 3300 XL 8mm probe to the rear-end Proximitor pre-sensor, enabling the secure and efficient transmission of micron-level mechanical shaft vibration, displacement, and speed signals.
One 3300 XL 8 mm probe
One 3300 XL extension cable
One 3300 XL Proximitor Sensor
The 3300 XL 8 mm system delivers the most advanced performance in our eddy current proximity transducer systems. The standard 3300 XL 8 mm 5-meter system also fully complies with the American Petroleum Institute’s (API) 670 Standard for mechanical configuration, linear range, accuracy, and temperature stability. All 3300 XL 8 mm proximity transducer systems provide this level of performance and support complete interchangeability of probes, extension cables, and Proximitor sensors, eliminating the need to match or bench calibrate individual components. Each 3300 XL 8 mm Transducer System component is backward compatible and interchangeable with other non XL 3300 series 5 mm and 8 mm transducer system components. This compatibility includes the 3300 5 mm probe, for applications in which an 8 mm probe is too large for the available mounting space.

Nuclear Power
Bridging proximity sensors on main feedwater and condensate pumps within the conventional island, where its highly reliable signal path secures continuous water supply for peripheral loops.
Thermal Power
Used to connect 8mm probes at steam turbine bearings, transmitting high-frequency impedance signals for radial shaft vibration over long distances in high-heat environments with metallic debris risk.
Iron, Steel & Heavy Metallurgy
Monitoring the thrust clearance of large blast furnace axial blowers; the armor layer withstands splashing hot slag and high thermal mechanical stresses typical of steel mills.
Pulp & Paper
Monitoring gearbox bearings in the high-humidity, acid-base corrosive dryer section of high-speed paper machines; the stainless steel sheath excels against chemical corrosion and water spray washdowns.
Petrochemical & Refining
Employed for bearing protection on fluid catalytic cracking (FCC) blowers and centrifugal compressors; its multiple approvals (-05) permit certified routing in Zone 1 and Zone 2 hazardous explosive areas.
When using the Bently Nevada 330130-060-01-05 armored cable, you must ensure the total system length (probe + cable + proximitor) strictly equals 7.0 meters, cutting or splicing is strictly prohibited to avoid signal distortion. Cable routing must rigidly adhere to a minimum bend radius of 25.4 mm (1.0 in) without sharp kinks. Additionally, since this configuration lacks integrated connector protectors, separate factory protectors must be installed over the exposed ClickLoc junctions to prevent oil/moisture ingress. Secure it inside protective conduits away from sharp vibrating edges, and strictly comply with the hazardous area installation codes mandated by its -05 certification.
It is a dedicated extension cable for the 3300 XL series 8mm proximity transducer system manufactured by Bently Nevada.
What is the primary purpose of 330130-060-01-05?
Its primary purpose is to bridge the front-end 3300 XL 8mm probe and the back-end Proximitor sensor, safely transmitting critical dynamic impedance signals.
How to properly install and use 330130-060-01-05?
Connect and tighten both ends of the cable to the 8mm probe and proximitor interfaces, and it is recommended to install connector protectors to prevent oil and moisture leaks.
What is the working principle of 330130-060-01-05?
As a high-frequency, highly protected coaxial cable, it efficiently returns data generated by the probe's alternating electromagnetic fields with a constant 75 Ω impedance and low loss.
In what harsh environments can 330130-060-01-05 be used?
With its corrosion-resistant jacket and stainless steel armor, it operates stably in environments with sharp metal debris, mechanical scraping risks, or rodent chewing threats.
