Overview Manuals Common Applications Product Precautions
The  PWA123447-01  is the communication hub of the TDXnet system. It captures dynamic waveform data across all channels simultaneously and computes key parameters such as spectrum, orbit, and centerline in real-time for System 1 software.
    • Immediate Recovery from Power Loss
    • High Resolution Static, Orbit, and Spectrum Data
    • Ethernet Link to Data Manager
The GE / Bently-Nevada TDXnet Transient Data Interface provides the interface between compatible machinery protection systems and Bently-Nevada's on-line machinery management software. It continuously collects both steady state and startup/shutdown data from all connected channels in parallel, and offers significant improvements in both data collection features and data transmission (Ethernet or serial) over previous communications processors such as TDIX, TDM, and DDM. The GE 2155 TDXnet Transient Data Interface Mainframe may still be available for purchase and support from Artisan Technology Group beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).

Petrochemical Refining
Condition monitoring for critical centrifugal compressors. Identifying coupling misalignment or impeller fouling by collecting high-frequency waveform data.

Natural Gas Transmission
Monitoring gas-turbine-driven pump sets at booster stations along long-distance pipelines, ensuring real-time data transmission from remote unmanned sites to central control rooms.

Steel & Metallurgy
Protecting large blast furnace blowers. Ensuring vibration data is fully reported to System 1 software for trend analysis in harsh dust and high-temperature environments.

Nuclear Power
Monitoring main feedwater pumps and circulating pumps. Providing high-precision diagnostic data via the TDIX interface to prevent unplanned shutdowns under extreme safety conditions.

Mining & Minerals
Driving large ball mills and SAG mills. Monitoring low-speed, heavy-duty bearing conditions and utilizing sampling capabilities to identify early-stage fatigue spalling.
The card contains highly sensitive DSP chips. Always wear an ESD wrist strap before handling. Store the board in its original anti-static shielding bag and avoid placing it on standard surfaces or plastic bags. High-speed data transfer requires pristine connections. Never touch fiber-optic tips with bare hands. For electrical cables, ensure pins are not bent or oxidized. Dust or oil can cause packet loss, leading to "System 1 Data Gaps."

FAQS

  • What is PWA123447-01?
It is the core circuit board for a Transient Data Interface (TDIX) module.
  • What is the use of PWA123447-01
It acts as a "translator" that collects vibration signals from machinery and transmits them to computer software.
  • What kind of data does PWA123447-01 collect?
It collects static data (like overall vibration) and transient data (like waveforms during startup).
  • Which software does PWA123447-01 connect to?
It primarily connects to Bently Nevada's System 1 asset management software.
  • What happens if PWA123447-01 fails?
The computer software will lose real-time vibration waveforms, but underlying protection (like auto-shutdown) usually remains functional.
