The 21000-00-00-40-040-02-02 is an external proximity probe housing assembly from the 21000 series, compliant with the American Petroleum Institute's (API) 670 Standard and certified as a CSA Type 4 explosion-proof enclosure for hazardous areas. Constructed from an aluminum main body and a 304 stainless steel sleeve, this configuration includes a 4.0-inch standoff adapter, a 4.0-inch probe penetration sleeve, and two 3/4-14 NPT explosion-proof electrical fittings (with one metal plug included). It utilizes a 3/4-14 NPT base thread for connection to the machine bearing housing or casing, and contains no proximity probe or extension cable.

Periodically check the 4.0-inch standoff and sleeve mounting to prevent high-frequency vibration from the extended cantilever during operation.
