Signal Connection: Provides 2x8 signal terminals, supporting up to 16 channels of on-site signal and process power connections. Communication integration: includes a portion of Modulus Bus that can allocate buses to connected I/O modules and transmit them to the next MTU, while automatically generating module addresses.
Mechanical Keying: Equipped with two mechanical encoding keys (6 positions each, 36 configurations in total) to prevent the insertion of I/O modules with mismatched types. Compact Design: Installed on DIN rails, the design is compact (with a width of approximately 58.5mm), suitable for control cabinet environments with limited space.
This unit is made of high flame retardant materials with excellent physical insulation properties, effectively preventing accidental short circuits between terminals and discharge risks to DIN rails. The wiring terminals are designed with shockproof locking to ensure electrical integrity even in industrial cabinets with continuous vibration.
In addition, with the overcurrent monitoring and current limiting protection circuit of S800 I/O module, the base can effectively share the electrical stress at the wiring end, ensuring the high reliability of the underlying wiring of the control system and the safety of operators in all aspects.
