Protocol conversion and isolation: As a bridge, convert the internal signals of the Honeywell Safety Manager system into standard RS232 or RS485/422 levels.
No need for independent wiring for power supply: The power is directly provided through the connected control processor, simplifying on-site wiring.
Long distance transmission: In RS485/422 mode, the maximum transmission distance at low rates (≤ 100 kBd) can reach 1.2 km.

In response to the common surge impact in RS485/422 networks, the interface is equipped with a TVS diode (transient voltage suppressor) with high response speed, which can absorb the peak voltage caused by static electricity (ESD) and lightning induction;
In addition, the module is designed with overcurrent protection and self recovery fuses to prevent permanent damage to the internal circuit caused by short circuits or wiring errors. It is also equipped with a circuit board design with conformal coating (such as CC version) to fully resist the humidity, corrosion, and electromagnetic noise of industrial sites from physical shielding to electrical protection.
