Overview Manuals Common Applications Product Precautions

The 3300/01-01-00 is the System Monitor for the 3300 series monitoring system. As the core management module installed in Slot 1, it is responsible for monitoring rack power status, processing common alarm signals, providing system reset functions, and maintaining the "System OK" interlock. Acting as the "command center" of the 3300 platform, it ensures the coordinated operation of all monitoring modules within the rack.
    • One 3300 XL 8 mm probe
    • One 3300 XL extension cable
    • One 3300 XL Proximitor Sensor
The system provides an output voltage that is directly proportional to the distance between the probe tip and the observed conductive surface and can measure both static (position) and dynamic (vibration) values. The system’s primary applications are vibration and position measurements on fluid-film bearing machines, as well as Keyphasor reference and speed measurements.

Petroleum Refining
Coordinating protection systems for large centrifugal compressors in refining units.

Petrochemical Industry
Maintaining common alarm logic for the "Big Three" compressor trains in ethylene plants.

Steel & Metallurgy
Managing the System OK signal for large monitoring systems of blast furnace blowers.

Air Separation
Acting as the central management unit in protection systems for large air compressors and expanders.

Pulp & Paper
Coordinating the reset function for large bearing monitoring systems in the paper machine dryer section.

Water & Wastewater
Managing common relay outputs for monitor racks at large municipal water pumping stations.
The module must be installed exclusively in Slot 1 (the leftmost slot) of the 3300 rack. Incorrect placement will cause rack failure and potential backplane damage. This module manages the Common System OK relay. If the module is removed or fails, the OK circuit will break, which might trigger unintended interlock actions in your control system (DCS).The relay contacts are generally intended for low-current signaling to a DCS or PLC. Do not use them to drive high-current trip coils directly, as this may burn out the contacts.
