Overview Manuals Product Precautions Product Precautions
The 26530-12-10-03-018-085-24-03-00 is a complete order model for a dual-probe transducer system assembly manufactured by Bentley Nevada, USA. It is a highly customized composite hardware system primarily used for advanced monitoring and protection of shaft absolute vibration in critical rotating machinery such as hydro-generator sets, large gearboxes, and certain industrial gas turbines.
    • Advanced Machine Diagnostics Capability
    • Utilizes a proprietary electromagnetic and physical isolation mechanism
    • Rigid Deep-Penetration Structural Stability
The Dual Probe Transducer System consists of a proximity probe and a seismic or Velomitor transducer installed at approximately the same point in a common transducer housing. This transducer system is capable of making four separate measurements: Shaft relative radial position (displacement) relative to the probe mounting location, measured by the proximity probe; Shaft relative radial dynamic motion (vibration) relative to the probe mounting location, measured by the proximity probe; Machine casing absolute vibration measured by the seismic vibration; and Shaft absolute motion represented by the summation of the seismic signal (after integration to displacement) and the shaft relative displacement. The Dual Probe Transducer System provides the best measurement data when transducer housing is mounted on a portion of the bearing housing or cover that is mechanically referenced to the bearing.

Oil and Gas
Used in large gas turbine-driven multi-stage centrifugal pipeline compressors at long-distance natural gas compression stations to simultaneously monitor internal shaft relative vibration and external casing absolute vibration.

Thermal Power
Used at each bearing pedestal of main steam turbines and generator rotors in large 300MW-1000MW supercritical and ultra-supercritical power generating units to achieve high-precision interlock protection for both shaft vibration and bearing housing absolute vibration under severe operating conditions.

Hydroelectric Power
Applied to guide bearings and heavy-load thrust bearing structures of giant hydro-generator units to fully replicate the absolute and relative axial/radial motions of the bearings induced by unbalanced hydraulic excitation.

Pulp and Heavy Industrial Paper
Utilized on main power bearing supports of large high-speed paper machine dryer driving gearboxes, high-pressure pulpers, and heavy-duty waste paper rewinders to prevent excessive vibrations caused by mechanical misalignment during continuous high-load operations.

Marine Engineering
Used on the main propulsion steam turbine generator unit bearings of large Liquefied Natural Gas carriers and onboard generator sets of Floating Production Storage and Offloading units to monitor bearing stresses under complex alternating loads from hull swaying in rough seas.

When using the Bently Nevada dual probe system, internal mechanical clearances must be precisely verified for its 8.5-inch deep penetration structure to prevent impact with the shaft, and a torque wrench must be used with sealant when tightening the 3/4-14 NPT threads to ensure an oil-proof and waterproof seal. During routing, the cable bending radius must be maintained without any over-tensioning, and the integrated 1.0-meter cables must be strictly matched to their respective Proximitor sensors and extension cables of the correct length (5-meter or 9-meter systems) without mismatching. Finally, regularly inspect the plugs and cable sealing glands to prevent high-frequency industrial vibrations from causing loose connections, oil ingress, or signal cross-interference.

FAQS

  • What is the 26530-12-10-03-018-085-24-03-00 device?
The 26530-12-10-03-018-085-24-03-00 is a Dual Probe Transducer System manufactured by Bently Nevada, which integrates a non-contact proximity probe and a seismic velocity sensor within a common protective housing.
  • What field measurement data can the 26530-12-10-03-018-085-24-03-00 provide?
It can simultaneously provide four separate field measurement metrics, including shaft relative radial vibration, shaft centerline position, casing absolute vibration, and calculated shaft absolute vibration.
  • Which critical industrial machines primarily use the 26530-12-10-03-018-085-24-03-00?
It is widely used on large rotating machinery where the casing or foundation mass is relatively light compared to the rotor mass, such as large hydro-turbines, certain industrial gas turbines, and massive gearboxes.
  • Why do large hydro-turbines typically require the 26530-12-10-03-018-085-24-03-00 system?
Hydro-turbine bearing supports typically have low stiffness, causing both the bearing housing and the shaft to vibrate heavily during operation, meaning a standard proximity probe alone would miss severe bearing runout.
  • Where exactly should the 26530-12-10-03-018-085-24-03-00 be mounted on the machine?
The housing adapter of this assembly must be securely screwed and tightened onto the bearing housing or bearing cover to ensure the sensors establish an accurate mechanical reference.
