The Bently Nevada 7200 series 8mm eddy current sensor system is a non-contact gap-to-voltage system designed for highly reliable measurement of static and dynamic distances between the probe tip and the target. It features a 2.0 mm linear range and a sensitivity of 200 mV/mil. This probe is suitable for monitoring radial vibration and axial displacement in rotating machinery and is fully compatible with the Bently 3300 and 3500 systems.In terms of system architecture, this probe is not only the core of the 7200 sensing system, but also boasts excellent platform compatibility. It can be seamlessly connected to the 3300 and 3500 series mechanical protection monitoring racks via a dedicated extension cable, providing preventative maintenance data for critical rotating equipment such as steam turbines, compressors, large water pumps, and motors. This is applicable whether used to monitor bearing wear, rotor imbalance, or as a keyphasor reference signal.
