Development Engineer – Electrolyser

Fulltime xia men
Electrolyzer system for green hydrogen production;
Apter Power designs and manufactures hydrogen-producing products based on Proton exchange membrane (PEM) technology;
he technology uses only electricity (renewable) and tap water to generate hydrogen on site, and the product scale can be expanded;
When building an existing customer base, pay special attention to the following capabilities:
(i) Provide a fully integrated system,
(ii) The system quickly responds to changes in power distribution,
And (iii) Generate hydrogen under a certain pressure, flow rate and purity suitable for its application.

We’re looking for a Development Engineer to join our team and prepare our products for mass production, increasing reliability and lowering its cost.

Your responsibilities

Development of process liquid loop components (e.g. cooling circuit, electrolyte circuit) from prototyping to mass-manufacturing;
Conception and selection of specific components like piping, pumps, control switches, sensors (temperature, pressure, flow, H2, O2);
Coordination of calculation or simulation of the complete process liquid loop (including cooling and water treatment);
Define and support internal or external functional tests together with our testing team;
Execute design for manufacturing and assembly.

Your profile

First things first: Enthusiasm for the part green hydrogen will play in tomorrow’s world and Apter Power’s role in it;
Excellent knowledge in the area of cooling, control, cooling circuits;
Creative problem solver, self-motivated to innovate with the drive to deliver maturity into new system delvelopments;
Understanding of devices working under pressure and sealings/gaskets;
Knowledge of industrial stress and safety tests;
Good knowledge of thermodynamics and hydraulics, problem solving and communication skills are required to succeed in the role;
Knowledge in CAD and CAE software tools (Autodesk Inventor, Solidworks).
